Gotham Professional Arts Academy Pulls Off Successful Career Day—Online
Students and teachers call it the “best career day yet”.
In spite of the challenge of holding its annual career day virtually, Community School Director Esti Ross and the team at Gotham Professional Arts Academy in Brooklyn pulled off what students and teachers called its best career day yet. On May 3, the school hosted 16 panelists from diverse fields including law, health care, music, film and television who told students about their career journeys and answered questions. All students were invited. And, because the event was held via video chat, panelists joined from all over the country. Students were especially inspired to hear from working actors, stylists and television producers who joined the event from California.
