Art imitates life, and PS 177 is living its best life! CSD Altovise “Vee” Green brought creativity and community together after she won the DOE’s Arts and Family Engagement grant. PS 177 was one of only three schools to receive the $2,500 award this year. The team used it to host a Family Tie-Dye T-shirt event, where 70 students and 55 parents made shirts. One parent said, “Thank you. We really enjoyed this event. When is the next one?”
