On Sept. 17, PS 19Q distributed 800 bags of fresh produce (courtesy of the Amazin’ Mets Foundation), 500 book bags with school supplies (courtesy of New York Cares, the New York Mets, Empire Health & Beacon-HANAC), 400 books donated by The Book Fairies and PS 19Q’s library, toys and shoes donated by the Parent Association of PS 19Q, and hand sanitizers donated by The Gap. Families also did hands-on activities with the New York Hall of Science, signed up for the upcoming school-based dental clinic with NYU-Langone, and registered for PS 19Q’s food pantry through the Plentiful app.
