As we wrap up an amazing forum season,when all our schools host events showcasing their community school programs and accomplishments, we’re sending a special shoutout to PS 18 in the Bronx. Thanks to the leadership of CSD Juan Sanchez, the forum was a resounding success, with a fantastic turnout of parents, students and district collaborators. Staff took the lead in the focus groups, which were held in both English and Spanish. The forum also featured student performances, a resource fair and a student art gallery. Principal Anjelica Jordan delivered a state-of-the-school address that emphasized the importance of academic support, parent engagement and social-emotional wellness. Kudos to everyone at PS 18 for making this forum a shining example of collaboration and connection!
