Variety is the spice of attendance intervention at PS 18 in the Bronx, where Community School Director Mia Martinez motivates students to participate in both their online and in-person classes with several highly interactive interventions. By rotating staff leads, students have been able to touch base with caring adults they missed. Drawing tutorials, mad scientist experiments and viral dance moves are all making a difference in the attendance at PS 18.
